Desktop Requirements
AdJacket makes it easy for users to access the system. Desktop requirements are minimal. Any user who browses the Internet can use AdJacket's collaboration system. Virtually self-trainable.

An Intuitive Interface
AdJacket's collaboration platform has an intuitive, browser-based interface that enables anyone who has surfed the Web to master its tools and features. A set of tool bars is always visible to users, allowing them to open a new page, go directly to their home page, search, access online help, and logout securely. No matter where you are on the site, you can easily navigate and perform the functions necessary to find the information you need. Anyone can be trained (or self-trained) in less than one hour. Fast adoption and universal usage is AdJacket's key benefit.

Flexibility
The flexibility of AdJacket's service is embodied in three principles: availability, info-sharing and permission-based access.

Availability
In addition to running on best-of-breed hardware and software platforms, AdJacket has built an infrastructure that eliminates single points of failure. All hardware and software systems are redundant.

A Permissions-based System
AJ provides powerful access control through a simple online administration tool. Marketing and agency users are assigned unique passwords and logins that allow access to appropriate areas of the system. In addition, permissions can be granted at the document level, allowing very granular control (including view, edit and delete privileges) for individual users, or can be set at the group level to simplify permissions administration. Agency teams can post early drafts of creative work, allowing only specific agency team members to view the work in progress. Once approval is determined internally, document permissions can be easily changed, so that the client can now review the posted creative.

Permission Pre-sets
The system allows each user to save their own personal set of permission selections as a "permissions pre-set." After a user has created a "permissions pre-set," the user can select it later when uploading a new document or changing a document's permissions. Using "permissions pre-sets" simplifies the process of uploading documents to the system and sharing them with other users.

File Types Supported
Users can post and share any common file type, so that other users can view, discuss brainstorm, download, and edit files. The system makes it easy to view and share creative briefs, creative executions at any stage, media plans, production schedules, and budget summaries. In addition, users have the ability to experience a full range of creative-from television and radio commercials to print ads, outdoor, collateral, p.o.p., and interactive.

Group and User Administration
AdJacket's collaboration platform functions via individual users and groups. Agency or advertiser administrators can add a new user to the system, giving users a unique login and password within minutes, allowing instant access to the site. Groups can be used to grant permissions on specific content to multiple users, allow access to private areas of the system to a set of limited users, and to send an e-mail notification to an entire group at once.

Getting the Information You Need
It's fast and easy to get the information you need. Each user can bookmark their own default home page, and have instant access to relevant areas of the system and vital information. A user can click on their bookmark, login and go directly to relevant information.

People/Contact Information
Contact information for system users account team members and outside contacts are easily accessible. Users can enter their own contact information including title, phone number, e-mail address. Users can also enter and store important vendor or client contact information.

Versioning and Attachments
The system can house multiple versions of any document to make it easy to track revisions or multiple variations of a print ad or creative file. AdJacket also allows users to store multiple attachments or documents under one main title and description (by job). This way, all files for any job can be found in one place.

E-Mail Notification
A user can alert other selected users or groups with an e-mail notification containing a direct link to a specific document. Users can also send documents as attachments to others who may not have access to the system.

Information Sharing
The Creative System lets users share documents in real-time - within the organization and with external clients and partners all over the world. Users can post documents and content to the system allowing other users to easily access the information at anytime, and from anywhere. The system makes it easy to view and share creative briefs, concepts, schedules, and estimates.

Document Discussions
Document discussions allow users to share comments related to a specific document and to allow a user to notify others that their feedback or approval is required. Comments can be stored on the system for future reference. Document discussions are easy to use and work similar to any Web-based bulletin board where users are able to post comments and view earlier comments or postings related to a specific document or topic.

Viewing Creative Online
The system automatically thumbnails compatible files that are uploaded to the system. Thumbnails allow a user to preview a file within their browser without having to download the file to their desktop.

Creative Discussions
Creative "discussions" allow users to post notations/comments related to a specific ad or creative file, and allow a user to notify others that their feedback or approval is required. Comments can be stored on the system for future reference. Document discussions are easy to use and work similar to any Web-based bulletin board where users are able to post comments and view earlier comments or postings related to a specific document or topic.

An Archive of Creative
The system allows users to store and archive creative, so that files can be accessed for later referral or use. Creative is automatically "archived" once it is completed or has been approved. Current creative and archived creative are viewable in separate areas of the system. In addition, all files can be associated to a specific region, brand or department, so that related files can be easily located.

Quick or Advanced Search
Users can quickly find all documents containing selected keywords or by selecting specific search parameters. The system searches on keywords within a document, as well as within the title and description.
